David B. Kerrane is a Partner with the firm. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego, and his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. Mr. Kerrane was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1998.
Mr. Kerrane began his career with a well-known insurance company as a claims adjuster, handling auto collision and homeowners' liability claims. Following his graduation from law school in 1998, he practiced both civil litigation and workers' compensation defense. He has extensive experience defending industrial injury claims, as well as discrimination and serious and willful misconduct petitions.
Mr. Kerrane's civil litigation experience includes contract disputes, employment matters, wage and hour claims, premises liability, and probate/elder abuse cases. He has successfully obtained defense verdicts and favorable judgments through both trial and binding arbitration. He continues to represent both large and small employers and their insurance carriers in workers' compensation matters. He has appeared before workers' compensation boards throughout Southern California, as well as several boards in Northern California.
Mr. Kerrane is also an experienced public speaker and has presented workers' compensation seminars for numerous clients.
