Robert H. Choi
Robert Choi is a Managing Partner with the firm. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno, and his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, where he was a recipient of the Dean's Scholarship.
Prior to joining Goldman Magdalin Straatsma LLP, Robert worked for the State Compensation Insurance Fund of California as Deputy Chief Counsel, overseeing all workers' compensation litigation within the Orange County region. He also supervised State Fund's Appellate and Complex Legal Units.
Robert has extensive experience in litigation, personnel management, policymaking, and claims operations within the workers' compensation insurance arena. Prior to practicing workers' compensation law, he worked with businesses and corporations, with an emphasis on international business transactions, contract negotiation and management, and dispute resolution.
Mr. Choi is a Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation.
